Pipp & Spalding Gives Back
PRESS RELEASE
3 Stories Trading Company will donate 10 Pipp & Spalding Woodlands Wonderland Seek-and-Find Throw Blankets to patients of Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis in honor of Riley's patient, Norah Richards. Norah, who is 5 years old and lives in southern Indiana, suffers from a very rare condition known as Alternative Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC). Only 300 children in the United States are known to have this neurological condition, and Norah has been a patient at Riley's multiple times. Norah and her mother, Emily, along with Rhonda Geralde, co-creator of the Pipp & Spalding brand, will travel to Riley's where Norah will present these unique blankets to 10 in-patient children in December 2024. The Pipp & Spalding Woodlands Wonderland Seek-and-Find Throw Blanket can provide all children, especially those who are confined to bed, with something quiet and calming to do while they are recuperating and resting. The blanket depicts many colorful objects to find and look at, and it has a soft and silky feel that provides sensory satisfaction while a child is trying to sleep or nap.
